Gambling Law
Gaming law is most complicated. The spread of gambling in the whole United States is extensive and every state has its own law to regulate gambling activity, limit the means and types of gambling, or ban it from certain areas.
To regulate interstate gambling, and international gambling, Congress uses its power under the Commerce Clause. Congress also uses its power to relations between the United States and Native American territories. Each state determines age, location, what kind of gambling it allows, and who may play. For example, in New Jersey, you can’t enter a casino before 21 but when you are 18 can buy a lottery ticket or bet on a horse race.
