PUBLIC INTEREST GROUPS IN THE FIELD OF THE ENVIRONMENT

Article L131-8
 Public interest groups endowed with legal personality and financial autonomy may be formed between persons of public law or of private law comprising at least one legal person of public law to exercise together for a fixed period of activities in the environment, as well as to create or manage together the equipment, personnel or common services necessary for these activities.
The provisions provided for in article 21 of law n ° 82-610 of July 15, 1982 on orientation and programming for research and technological development in France are applicable to these public interest groups. However, the director is appointed after consulting the Minister responsible for the environment.
