Article L611-15

An invention is considered capable of industrial application if its object can be manufactured or used in any type of industry, including agriculture.

Article L611-16

Methods of surgical or therapeutic treatment of the human or animal body and diagnostic methods applied to the human or animal body are not considered as inventions susceptible of industrial application within the meaning of Article L. 611-10. This provision does not apply to products, in particular to substances or compositions, for the implementation of one of these methods.
