Obligation

A bond is a security that recognizes a debt . In trade a bond is a title negotiable that is created by a commercial company or a local authority in the context of the issuance of a set of identical securities with a nominal value corresponding to the division of the total amount of this issue and which are given to the subscribers of these securities in return for the capital they lend.

We distinguish in particular the following types of obligations

– lot bonds , which are the subject of lots to award more or less important lots

– redeemable bonds which are reimbursed by amortization

– bonds with warrants

the warrants bonds   (bonds with warrants) entitle the holder to one or more good share subscription

– convertible bonds ,

the holder of a convertible bond (OC) has the option to convert into a share of the issuing company

– exchangeable bonds

the holder of an exchangeable bond (OE) has the option to exchange for a share of the issuing company

– bonds redeemable in shares

the issuing company has the option to redeem in shares the bond redeemable in shares (ORA)
