OHADA space
Currently, OHADA has 16 member countries: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Comoros, Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, Gabon, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Mali, Niger, Central African Republic, Senegal, Chad and Togo.

OHADA was designed for French-speaking countries. The working language of OHADA is French and the unified law is inspired by civil law.
An extension to other African countries could change this situation. OHADA now has Guinea-Bissau and Equatorial Guinea as members and is likely to expand to English-speaking countries. .
