Description
John Dornik completed his B.A. from St. Mary’s College before receiving his J.D. from the University of Minnesota. He was admitted to the Minnesota Bar and is a member of the Hennepin County Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
John became an attorney to help and provide legal representation to injured victims in their greatest time of need. Currently, he is following his passion to help others as a certified trial specialist and has taken numerous medical malpractice, auto accident, product liability, sexual assault, and other types of personal injury cases. John has a legal license to practice in Minnesota state and federal courts.
John’s success and positive outcome rate stem from the fact that he spends his time listening to his clients, understanding their pain and suffering, and narrating that story beautifully to the jurors in a way they can connect with. He is known to carry out his mission of recovering compensation for injured victims with integrity and compassion.
The litigation process can often be emotional and challenging for injured victims, and John recognizes that by personally working closely with clients and leading them through every phase of a claim. He has had numerous seven-figure recoveries and some of them include the following:
- $3.5 Million – Permanent disability of a motorcyclist from a truck accident.
- $2.1 Million – Medical misdiagnosis causing permanent injuries to a young boy.
- $7 Million – Wrongful death and 2 family members severely injured in an aviation accident.
- $4.5 Million- Manufacturers’ defect in a plane, resulting in a crash and the death of the pilot.
Besides representing injured victims, John remains active in the legal space as a profession at the University of Minnesota Law, teaching aspiring young lawyers product liability law. Over the years, he has had several achievements and awards to his name, some of them including:
