Article 410-1
The fundamental interests of the nation are understood within the meaning of this title of its independence, the integrity of its territory, its security, the republican form of its institutions, the means of its defense and its diplomacy, safeguard of its population in France and abroad, of the balance of its natural environment and its environment and of the essential elements of its scientific and economic potential and of its cultural heritage.
