MINOR DELIVERY

Article 227-1

(Ordinance n ° 2000-916 of September 19, 2000 art. 3 Official Journal of September 22, 2000 in force on January 1, 2002)
   The abandonment of a minor of fifteen years in any place is punishable by seven years’ imprisonment and a fine of 100,000 euros, unless the circumstances of the abandonment have made it possible to ensure the health and safety of the latter.

Article 227-2

   The abandonment of a minor of fifteen years which has resulted in mutilation or permanent disability is punishable by twenty years of criminal imprisonment.
The abandonment of a minor of fifteen years followed by the latter’s death is punished by thirty years of criminal imprisonment.
