DELIVERY DECREE

Decree of March 2, 1791

FIRST ARTICLE

The annihilation of all species of Corporations of the same state and profession being one of the fundamental bases of the French Constitution, it is forbidden to re-establish them under any pretext and in any form whatsoever.

SECOND ARTICLE

  Citizens of the same state or profession, entrepreneurs, those who have an open shop may not, when they are together, appoint either presidents, or secretaries, or trustees, keep registers, take orders or deliberation, form settlements on their so-called common interests.
