Article R316-2

Article R316-3

Article R316-4

Article R316-5

   With the exception of quadricycles, two or three-wheeled vehicles and agricultural or public works vehicles or equipment other than agricultural tractors, any motor vehicle whose unladen weight exceeds 350 kilograms must be fitted with reverse gear. .

Article R316-6

   All motor vehicles, with the exception of agricultural vehicles and machinery which do not have a closed cab, must be fitted with one or more rear-view mirrors of sufficient size, arranged so as to enable the driver to monitor the position from his seat. road towards the rear of the vehicle regardless of its normal load and the field of vision of which does not include any appreciable blind spot likely to mask a vehicle preparing to overtake.

Article R316-7

   The management bodies must present sufficient guarantees of solidity. In the event that their operation requires a fluid, they must be designed so that the driver can maintain control of his vehicle in the event of failure of one of the components using the fluid.

Article R316-8

   The controls of the various components of the vehicle likely to be used while driving must be easily accessible by the driver in the normal driving position.
